To help catch these commonly seen problems as early as possible, we offer Senior Health Checks, which can help improve the health for your pet in the later years. During a senior health check, we will give your pet a full clinical examination, test their urine and measure blood pressure. Depending on our findings, we may also suggest further investigations such as blood screenings which will come at an extra charge.
When pets are starting to struggle with their mobility we have lots of experience and can help you manage this effectively. We run special pain management consultations where we can tailor a plan specifically for your furry companion. Whilst it can be difficult to think about it, there will come a time when we have to say goodbye to our much loved pets. It is good to have considered the possibility and choices before it becomes time sensitive.
We understand how difficult this time can be and offer home visits if you would prefer your pet to pass on in familiar surroundings. If you decide to come to the practice we will offer you a private room so you can spend as much one on one time with your pet as you need.
